Your 2026 travel bucket list doesn’t have to be big, expensive, or life-changing to be meaningful.
I don’t really do New Year’s resolutions.
I do like setting intentions and giving myself excuses to try new things — especially when it comes to travel.
This year, I’m focusing less on “doing more” and more on traveling with intention.
Slower. Simpler. More curious.
So instead of traditional travel goals, I made something a little more fun: a Travel Bingo Card for the year ahead.
It’s not a checklist. There’s no pressure to “win.” It’s just a collection of small travel moments that tend to turn into the stories you remember long after the trip is over.

The 2026 Travel Resolution Ideas
These aren’t big, flashy bucket-list goals — and that’s the point.
Some of the best travel memories don’t come from checking off countries or spending more money, but from small moments: talking to a stranger, getting lost on purpose, trying something slightly uncomfortable, or slowing down enough to notice what’s around you.
Here are some of the experiences included on the card:
- Say “hello” in a new language
- Talk to a stranger
- Take a cooking class
- Get lost on purpose
- Ride a local bus or train
- Ask for directions
- See a waterfall
- Watch a sunrise or sunset
- Change plans last minute
- Do an activity that makes you nervous
- Take a long walk or hike
- Try a local tradition or custom
- Spend a day offline
- Eat street food
- Do laundry abroad (a rite of passage)
- Stay somewhere that isn’t a hotel
- Swim in a sea or lake
None of these require:
- expensive flights
- luxury hotels
- quitting your job
- being “good” at travel
They just require showing up.
How to Use This Travel Goals Bingo Card
You can:
- print it out
- save it to your phone
- use it as inspiration while planning trips
- ignore half of it and still “win”
There are:
- no prizes
- no deadlines
- no pressure
But if you do complete a bingo this year…
I fully expect photo evidence 😉
Why This Works Better Than a Traditional 2026 Travel Bucket List
Because:
- it encourages curiosity, not perfection
- it works for solo travelers, couples, and families
- it adapts to your budget, time, and energy
- it celebrates small moments instead of chasing big checkmarks
Travel doesn’t need to be bigger in 2026.
It just needs to be more intentional.

One square or all of them — both count.
Final Thoughts on 2026 New Year’s Travel Resolutions
If travel is part of your 2026 plans — even in a small way — this bingo card is your reminder that:
- curiosity matters
- comfort zones are optional
- and you’re doing it right even if your trip looks different than someone else’s
Here’s to a year of small moments that turn into great stories.
