Central America is a region of the continent of North America that includes 7 different Latin American countries: Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Belize.
Geologists also consider Mexico’s Yucatán and Chiapas states part of Central America, but generally speaking, people consider Mexico outside of Central America.
